Next Generation Melvyl – April Enhancements

Over the weekend of April 19th, a number of changes were brought into Next Generation Melvyl, supported by WorldCat Local (WCL).  These changes are especially noticeable on the detailed record display.

University of California Libraries Evaluation of Scopus

The University of California Libraries will be evaluating Scopus , a large interdisciplinary abstract and citation database of research literature and selected web sites developed by the publisher Elsevier.

New UC Shared Images Metadata Guidelines

The UC Shared Images program recently revised and published its guidelines for shareable metadata. Version 2.0 of the "Metadata Submission Guidelines" (MSG) is now available on Inside CDL.

Columbia Earthscape to be Discontinued June 30, 2009

Columbia University Libraries and Columbia University Press have announced that Columbia Earthscape: An Online Resource on the global environment will cease on June 30, 2009.
