CDL Welcomes Kurt Ewoldsen
CDL has hired a new Infrastructure and Application Support Manager—Kurt Ewoldsen—following John Ober’s retirement in May. Kurt impressed the interview groups with his deep and practical technical knowledge, including experience with disaster recovery and virtualization. Most recently he was AVP of Information Technology at StoneRiver, a company that provides technology solutions to insurance companies. He has experience working with 3rd party technology and service vendors through the entire process, including negotiating and enforcing Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Although he has always worked in a corporate environment, he has a strong commitment to an environment of collaboration and cooperation.
Kurt has a BS in Electrical Engineering from Stanford, and a reputation for organizing social events although we’ll have to convince him that rooting for Stanford (or wearing red) is no longer acceptable.
