Recent Enhancements, News, and Activities

  • SDSC content migration complete. We have finished the migration of content from the UCOP Data Center to SDSC. As mentioned previously, this involved feeding all the objects through Ingest. You’ll see that your objects have a new version number, but content will be unchanged from the previous version.
  • SDSC migration check. We are checking to be sure that everything was in fact migrated successfully. We’ll “walk” the directory structure of the storage node in the UCOP Data Center and check that everything is represented in the Inventory database. Once we are certain that everything has been migrated to SDSC, it will mean that all content is in SDSC Cloud Storage.
  • UCLA content migration. Once the SDSC migration check is completed, we will then begin the process to replicate all content to UCLA.
