AnthroSource now included in systemwide Wiley contract

AnthroSource is an online portal serving the research, teaching and practicing needs of anthropologists. An online service of the American Anthropological Association (AAA), AnthroSource offers access to more than 100 years of anthropological knowledge.  Current content includes 32 anthropological publications from AAA – journals, books, monographs, bulletins and newsletters.

AnthroSource was previously licensed by each campus but is now included in CDL’s systemwide Wiley contract for the next three years, 2016 – 2018, with favorable price caps.  CDL will provide shared cataloging and SFX activation; campuses can choose to not ingest SCP records and continue to use local records.  For SFX, the processes for campuses to replace their local Anthrosource SFX activation should involve target deactivation in the local instance.

AnthroSource was recently launched with an improved design and new functionality including altmetric scores to measure each article’s impact across all forms of media.
