Nga Ong joins CDL

On August 3rd, Nga Ong joined CDL’s Licensed Content Team as a Library Data and Services Analyst. In her new position, Nga will work on various collection analysis and assessment projects and will be involved with CDL HelpLine activities.  Nga joins CDL from the UC Berkeley Library where she was the work leader of the Electronic Resources Unit. She grew up in Malaysia, came to the United States to study music, and received a PhD in Musicology from Washington University in Saint Louis.

Nga and her husband moved from the mid-West to the Bay Area for the gorgeous weather and cultural diversity. She enjoys skiing, watching basketball, and playing in a family rock band (as the keyboardist); her son, the drummer and lead singer; and her husband, the bass guitarist.
