Brian supervises a small team of programmers who are responsible for supporting a portfolio of applications and services. Most of our work involves loading more content or adding more features into http://oac.cdlib.org and http://calisphere.universityofcalifornia.edu or tracking down the sources of strange issues that crop up.

Brian has been a UC Libraries patron and Melvyl user since 1986, when he was a student at Rubidoux High School in Riverside. He first worked for the UC in the UC Riverside Biology Department as a Lab Assistant for a summer when he was 17. He was an undergraduate student at UCSD where he went to Fifth College (Eleanor Roosevelt) and worked for Housing and Dining Services. He has worked for the UC Libraries since 1996 when he started working in the InfoPath Services Office of the UCSD Libraries. A fourth generation Southern California native, he moved to the San Francisco Bay Area in 2001 to work for CDL.
