Responsibilities
Ellen manages the Information Services group at CDL, which provides direct and indirect user support for CDL programs and services. She also takes the lead in the areas of general CDL education and outreach to the campus libraries and serves on a number of CDL teams intersecting collections and discovery & delivery services.

M.L.I.S., University of California, Los Angeles, with a specialization in Academic and Research Libraries
Background
Ellen joined the CDL in 2001 to provide direction in usability, education, and outreach for the Melvyl Catalog and journal article database transitions. She became head of CDL Information Services in January 2006. Ellen held positions at the UC Berkeley Library in reference, collection development, instruction, and management in undergraduate library services before arriving at CDL. She has held leadership positions in ACRL, LAMA and UC systemwide libraries.
