Discovery & Delivery
Leslie leads project teams for two critical library services: NextGen Melvyl, an enhanced version of the UC-wide online catalog, and Request, a service that enables libraries to reduce cost and provide better access through interlibrary loan. Focusing on strategic planning, resource allocation, communication, and team process improvement, Leslie ensures the smooth flow of information and new ideas to create the best possible user experience for these UC-wide services.

Leslie joined CDL in September 2008. Her drive for continuous improvement has been a central focus in her previous careers as a senior manager of production and customer service teams, and as a management consultant for high tech, academic, financial services, and non-profit clients. She brings that same drive to CDL. As an experienced project manager, Leslie continually seeks opportunities to share her practical project management expertise in a straight-forward way that helps others overcome "project-phobia" and moves projects forward. She believes that the key to success in delivering projects is in helping others adapt to the increasing pace of change in the library world. A newly-minted librarian, Leslie is pleased to be part of the vanguard that will ensure libraries have an essential place "in the user flow."
