Responsibilities

Perry serves as project manager on several preservation projects, including the new digital repository, web archiving service public access, and JHOVE2. In addition, he works on external projects involving the Center for Research Libraries and trusted digital repositories, and the Digital Library Federation and the Text Encoding Initiative guidelines.

Background

Perry has been the Digital Preservation Project Manager at CDL since November 2008. Previously, he served as Head of the Digital Library Production Service at the University of Michigan and Head of the Library Electronic Text Resource Service (LETRS) at Indiana University. In addition to his work in digital libraries, he has served as a bibliographer and reference librarian at Indiana University, SUNY-Binghamton and Columbia University.
