Responsibilities
Virginia performs extensive analysis related to Bibliographic Services implementation, production, and maintenance activities. For Melvyl, this includes a wide variety of tasks including bibliographic analysis during all phases of Aleph upgrades and campus ILS changes, monitoring Melvyl input files, and updating the location table. For the WorldCat Local Pilot implementation, this included bibliographic analysis of the initial Pilot, as well as ongoing analysis of OCLC upgrades. She is the primary CDL contact to Melvyl input sources on issues related to Melvyl location table changes and Melvyl file transmission activities.
