|Instructional Materials Updates
includes links to instructional materials created by the California Digital Library, campus library staff, and external vendors. Library staff are encouraged to submit materials to Ellen Meltzer.
|CDL Alert Listserv
CDLAlert is designed to allow CDL to send announcements of systemwide interest to our users, e.g., database problems, notices for scheduled maintenance, access problems, etc. This listserv is for UC library staff only.
CDLINFO-L is designed to inform UC Librarians and the UC community about the progress of the CDL, policy issues under discussion, and newly available electronic resources. We hope that subscribers from the UC libraries will pass on selected information from the newsletter to faculty, staff, and students on their campuses, as appropriate. CDLINFO is also published on the web at http://www.cdlib.org/cdlinfo
DLINSTRUCT-L is an open, unmoderated list valuable for staff from all campuses to discuss best practices, opportunities for collaboration, production of shareable materials, and other instruction issues. The list is owned by Ellen Meltzer at the CDL.
The GENRES-L list is designed to collect and disseminate information about multi-disciplinary databases, e.g., Web of Science, WorldCat, Current Contents, etc., and as a mechanism for recruiting testers from a wide variety of library staff. Items about general resources that are appropriate for CDLAlert and CDLINFO will continue to appear as usual. The list is owned by Holly Eggleston.
|Online Archive of California (OAC) Listserv
The OAC-L listserv provides updates about Calisphere and the OAC. It is open to members of DSC contributing institutions.
CDL manages a discussion list for image service administrators and stakeholders (e.g., visual resources curators, librarians, educational technology/media services, academic computing/IT support). The list is primarily a communication channel for news about UC Shared Images and serves as a discussion forum for contributing members. It also provides CDL with an advisory group of domain experts on image service issues.
The SCP-L listserv is designed to share information and promote discussion about the Shared Cataloging Program (SCP). Regular postings to this list will include the SCP Monthly Update, which provides general information on SCP activities of note and new packages cataloged as well data on the most significant records distributions of the previous month, the final minutes of the SCP Advisory Committee, and the SCP Annual Report. Subscribers to this list include the members of the SCP Advisory Committee and all SCP staff so list subscribers who post questions can be assured of timely and informed responses. The list is owned by Adolfo R. Tarango.
The UCELINKS-ADMINS-L listserv is designed to share information and promote discussion among the CDL staff and campus UC-eLinks liaisons and staff who administer UC-eLinks. This listserv is for UC-eLinks administrators only. The list is owned by Margery Tibbetts.
The UC3-L list is designed to provide announcements and updates regarding UC3 services.
The UCVDX-L list is designed to provide announcements and communication regarding the UC system-wide instance of the Request and Interlibrary Loan system. This list is owned by Resource Sharing Team.
