Conference Reception

We will hold a reception in the African Hall of the California Academy of Sciences on Monday, October 5, from 7:00pm to 10:00. See map below.

Transportation will be provided to and from the event.

The California Academy of Sciences combines an aquarium, planetarium, natural history museum and 4-story rainforest in one structure. The new building, designed by Renzo Piano, opened in September 2008 and is considered the world's greenest museum. The world-renowned African Hall contains dioramas of African wildlife, along with live animals, including a colony of African penguins. See the penguins in action via the live webcams:
