Image Service Demonstrator Project
Project Description
The project is a development initiative of the California Digital Library. Using Luna Insight software, it will build a demonstrator online service that supports research and teaching in arts, humanities, and other disciplines that use surrogate images of works in architectural and the visual arts. The demonstrator will be developed with selected collections of digital images including the c.100,000 digital images being developed as part of the Museums and the Online Archive of California (MOAC).
See sections below:

- Assess workflow issues
- Assess content management capabilities
- Evaluate cross collection searching capability
- Evaluate personal collections feature
- Conduct assessment of UC faculty and graduate students about using images in instruction and learning, and Insight's ability to meet their needs
