Millions of books from the UC Libraries will be scanned through our participation in mass digitization projects. These projects expand the UC Libraries ability to give faculty, students and the public access to information and support our exploration of new service models. The UC Libraries are participating in three mass digitization projects: Google Book Search, Microsoft Live Book Search and the Open Content Alliance.
