Inside CDL

Needs Assessment and Usability Testing

Needs Assessment

In June 2005, the searching needs of UCLA graduate students and faculty in European Studies were explored in a series of interviews. The final report is available:

  • UCLA European Integration Portal: Metasearch Assessment: [PDF]

A series of needs assessment activities were organized in early 2004 to help determine how best to meet the needs of particular audiences. These activities were centered around the first three CDL-created portals. Final summary reports are available for each:

Usability Testing

The CDL is committed to testing our services with our target audiences to better understand whether our services are meeting their needs as well as they can. Reports from these tests will be posted here as they become available.
