UC-eLinks' Citation Linker helps you find articles, books, book chapters, etc. within the University of California's systemwide library resources. Citation Linker forms are available for both End-user and ILL Staff use. To use the service,
If UC (systemwide or your home campus) subscribes to the electronic version of your resource, the UC-eLinks window will provide a link to the publisher's web site that should contain the full text of the item.
If UC (systemwide or your home campus) does not subscribe to the electronic version of your resource, the UC-eLinks window will offer other options such as the ability to check campus library holdings in the Melvyl Catalog (and were you can sometimes find that items ARE available online), or to Request the item via Interlibrary Loan (ILL).
Each campus can choose to offer links to the type of form (or both types) that best suits the needs of their users on the local campus web pages; the End-User forms are recommended for public pages. Please use the CDL maintained URLs below for accurate UC-eLinks menus.
Note: Any Requests for Journal volume/issue initiated via Citation Linker that do not contain a year will not go direct to lender, they will require manual processing by the ILL staff.
