Information for new Resource Liaisons

Thank you for volunteering to serve as a Resource Liaison!  RLs provide a crucial link between the UC system and our licensed resource vendors, as well as providing a link between CDL and the campuses. Resource Liaisons serve as the primary conduit to communicate resource issues to vendors and CDL, as well as providing expertise and assistance for activities during the resource's lifecycle.

To get started:

• If you have not already done so, please fill out the Resource Liaison Demographic Survey.
• Review "A walk through the charge," an overview of RL responsibilities and relevant resources and tools.
• Sign up for useful email lists.
• If you have a Facebook profile, join the CDL Resource Liaisons Facebook group!
• Take a look at our online calendar for upcoming activities and projects.
• For information on how to get up to speed (and staying informed) about your resource, please see Monitoring your resource.
• As well, we hold a bi-monthly webinar series on topics of interest to RLs.
