Request Location Liaisons
Request uses the Request table to automatically add potential UC library lenders to requests based on the shelving location of the local campus OPAC.
The CDL Melvyl team uses this table to gather the human-readable values for the WorldCat Local Holdings Records (LHR) codes for display in the Melvyl instances. For instance, this allows the code "HQXZ" to appear as "Main Library" instead of "HQXZ" when viewing the detailed record page for an item. This was done to keep the location changes submission as simple as possible.
