OAI-PMH Data Service
Metadata records for EAD collection guides and METS digital objects is available for harvesting via the Open Archives Initiative Protocol for Metadata Harvesting (OAI-PMH), based on the specifications outlined below. The CDL implements the
OAI-PMH 2.0 specification.
Implementation Notes
Identifiers
- The item-level identifers use the Archival Resource Key (ARK) naming scheme
Metadata Formats
- The only supported metadata schema is
oai_dc.
Flow Control
- The ListRecords and ListIdentifiers verbs default to return a maximum of 20 records at a time.
- Resumption tokens are supported.
