eScholarship is the CDL Publishing Group’s open access scholarly publishing platform, providing digital publishing services to the University of California and delivering a dynamic research platform to scholars worldwide.
Home to more than 30,000 publications with more than 9 million downloads since its inception, eScholarship offers the UC academic community a robust alternative to traditional scholarly publishing channels, supporting the digital publication and dissemination of UC research at all stages of the scholarly lifecycle, including:

History
Conceived of as a means to rapidly disseminate scholarship created or sponsored by UC faculty or divisions, eScholarship first launched in 2002 under the name eScholarship Repository. The site relaunched as eScholarship in October 2009, with new opportunities for the publication of original scholarship and greatly enhanced search and display capabilities.
