Do you need to create a Data Management Plan?
Data management plans are now required by many funding agencies such as the National Science Foundation (NSF). The DMPTool will help you create data management plans to meet these requirements. In addition, UC3 offers a range of services and advice for creating data management plans.
In specific, the DMPTool:
- Helps researchers meet requirements of the NSF and other U.S. funding agencies.
- Guides researchers through the process of creating a data management plan.
- Is available to everyone.
- Provides additional help to researchers at DMPTool partner institutions.
Get Started
Click on the Get Started button on the Home page of the DMPTool. If your institution is one of our partner institutions, select it from the dropdown list. You may be directed to your own institution's login page, or you may be asked to create an account. If your institution is not listed, you can still create an account and use the DMPTool. Once you've set up an account, select My Plans from the navigation bar to begin a data management plan.
