Access to PAIS International via Z39.50 ends January 28

Access to the OCLC version of the PAIS International database via Z39.50 for both the web and telnet interfaces for the CDL hosted databases will cease on January 28th. OCLC has recently made extensive changes to the file structure for the Z39.50 version of this database.  Due to the lack of resources, short notification time, and the principles outlined in the A&I transition process (see the Dec. 6, 2000 issue of CDLINFO for more information (http://www.cdlib.org/news/cdlinfo/cdlinfo120600.html) CDL will no longer support the Z39.50 version.  All users should be directed to the OCLC native mode web interface.
