Nine UC Campuses (all except UCSF) entered a Tier 2 agreement to become among the first institutional subscribers to The Arabidopsis Information Resource (TAIR). Arabidopsis thaliana is a flowering plant that is widely used as model organism for genomic and molecular biology research. TAIR provides curation and access to Arabidopsis specific data, analysis tools and other information resources collected from the literature and direct user submission.
