Calisphere/Shared DAMS user group meeting, featuring UCI linked data project

Please join us for the next Calisphere / Shared DAMS User Group meeting on March 22 at 11:00 AM.

Our special guest at this meeting will be UC Irvine’s Laura Smart. Laura will discuss the exciting NEH-funded project “Piloting Linked Open Data for Artists’ Books” currently underway at UCI. The project team is using RDF-based outputs of the metadata to create a visualization showing relationships between books and artists. They are also using the Shared Nuxeo DAMS to manage selected digital objects, and will be adding them to Calisphere.

CDL staff will also give brief service updates.

The user group meeting is open to everyone at the UC Libraries who contributes to, collaborates on, and/or is interested in Calisphere and the Shared DAMS.
