SCP Monthly Update — November 2017

SCP has posted the distribution statistics report for the month of October. This monthly report shows net increase or decrease of titles from CDL licensed and selected open access collections. Here are the highlights of our major record distributions. For our major serial record distributions were EBSCO journals (31 titles), and Open Access journals (604 titles, includes DOAJ, 544 titles).

For monographs, the major record distributions were: ACM Digital Library online conference proceedings (80 titles), American Institute of Physics conference proceedings online monographs (65 titles), Cambridge online monographs (202 titles), CRC Press monographs (306 titles), Elsevier monographs (190 titles), IEEE Xplore online conference proceedings (165 titles), Morgan & Claypool online monographs. Synthesis Collection 7 (60 titles), Open access monographs (1,217 titles, includes JSTOR (mostly RAND titles), 1,196 titles), SPIE digital library online conference proceedings (60 titles), SpringerLink monographs (1,159 titles, includes many subjects, such as Biomedical and life sciences 81 titles, Business and management 47 titles, Computer science 185 titles, Economics and finance 73 titles, Education 76 titles, History 37 titles, Law and criminology 41 titles, Literature, cultural and media studies 61 titles, Mathematics and statistics 59 titles, Medicine 82 titles, Physics and astronomy 67 titles, Political science and international studies 45 titles, Religion and philosophy 44 titles, and Social sciences monographs 95 titles), and Wiley online monographs (139 titles).

For DDA programs, the evidence-based (EBS) pilot for CRC Press ENGnetBASE online monographs had ended, all of 925 discovery records (DDA 2014 package (292 titles), 2015 package (352 titles), and 2016 package (281 titles)) were removed in October. 104 titles were purchased from 2016 package and cataloged; titles purchased from 2015 package will be cataloged soon. Starting in 2017, CRC Press engineering titles will be acquired under a consortial STMnetbase contract that includes all CRC Press frontlist content and cataloged records are listed under CRC Press monographs.

DDA programs with number changed as of today: Airiti DDA (2,643 discovery records + 337 purchased titles), CNPeReading CDL DDA online monographs (2,577 discovery records), CRC Press ENGnetBASE online monographs 272 purchased titles (2013 package (104 titles), 2014 package (64 titles), and 2016 package (104 titles)), JSTOR CDL DDA pilot (1,415 discovery records + 123 purchased titles). For DDA programs with no change from last month: EBSCO Japanese DDA (2,688 discovery records + 198 purchased titles).
