U.S. Major Dailies provides access to current content and significant archives dating back to the 1980s for five of the nation’s most respected national and regional newspapers, including The New York Times, Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, Chicago Tribune, and The Wall Street Journal, in full-text format.

These newspapers are fully cross-searchable with other ProQuest resources including Historical Newspapers, and all other databases on the ProQuest platform, enhancing researcher output by providing easy access to multiple perspectives, resources, and languages relevant to their research topic.

Workflow tools such as RSS/alerts, text-to-speech capability, cite, share, print, and export help make the research process flexible, thorough, and efficient. Many citation formats are available, and articles can be translated into 13 languages.

Jim Ronningen (UCB) is the Resource Liaison for this resource.
