Stephen Abrams leaving CDL

As many of you know, Stephen Abrams will be returning to the Boston area in order to be in closer geographic proximity to family.  His last day at CDL will be October 5, 2018.

For over 10 years, Stephen has been essential to the success of the University of California Curation Center (UC3) program and CDL.  He has been a leader and a contributor on many of our most successful and impactful projects. We are grateful that he has shared his expertise with us.  Stephen has been amazing to work with and it is sad to see him go.

The UC3 team is putting together plans of how to transition work the best ways possible. If you have any questions about this transition, please contact uc3@ucop.edu.

On the bright side, we are proud to relay that Stephen will be returning to the Harvard University Library as head of the its newly established digital preservation program, with responsibility for preservation strategy, policy, training, grant development, systems, and initiatives.

Please join us in expressing our gratitude for the work that Stephen has done for CDL and the UC system.
