Literature Online (LION) via ProQuest

The Literature Online (LION) database is now available on the main ProQuest platform and is cross-searchable with other ProQuest resources. Access to the previous version of this database will end on August 1, 2019.

There will be an overlap period beginning immediately and continuing through July 1, 2019. This parallel access period provides time to try new features on the main ProQuest platform while allowing access to the legacy Literature Online site.

As of July 1, 2019, the main ProQuest platform will be the sole source for UC’s access to Literature Online.

“My Archive” users – Items saved in “My Archive” within the legacy Literature Online will not automatically port over into the new Literature Online site on the main ProQuest platform. There is extended time where both sites are running in parallel and users can use this parallel access period to create a new “My Archive” within the new LION site on the main ProQuest platform.

Please contact the Resource Liaison, Jane Faulkner (faulkner@ucsb.edu), with questions.
